The town of Bethsaida for Little Kids

This map shows the location of Bethsaida in the land of Israel.

There were two towns named Bethsaida on the north part of the Sea of Galilee. On this map is Bethsaida-Julias which is the general location that many believe is where Jesus fed the 5,000 people with just five loaves of bread and two fish. Bethsaida is also the town where the people brought a blind man to Jesus and he healed his eyes so he could see!

Now you know where Bethsaida was located in ancient Israel!

Geography and ancient cities are important to study as we learn from the Bible, let's pray:

Dear Jesus, thank you for the Bible and for giving us the ability to learn about history. Help us to trust and obey you more and more each day. And help us to remember the things we learn from your Word. In Jesus name… Amen!
