Lion

Lions in the Bible. God created lions and they are mentioned in the Bible often. Lions have always been very terrifying because of their size, strength, and their roar. In ancient times lions were symbols of strength and courage, ferocity, majesty, and power. Many ancient thrones were filled with ornamental lions both small and large. In ancient Israel God revealed himself to the Hebrews as majestic, and the lion was a symbol of God's majesty as well as the color purple. Jesus was called "the lion of the tribe of Judah" and he will reign as the majestic king forever and ever.
